The Puerto Rico Sports Fishing Federation (PRSFF), is a 501c3 non-profit organization that provides leadership for our Puerto Rico fishing teams as they compete worldwide. We share our love of competitive angling by engaging in International and Local events, we support education and conservation actions of our natural resources and empower the local fishing community groups to grow and promote competitive fishing.

Ray Heredia

US Air Force Retired with 20yrs of Military Service and currently working as a Computer Engineer for the Department of Defense (DoD). Bachelor's Degree in Computer Information Systems. Lifelong Anglers and Competitive Fisherman since 1997 from Jayuya Puerto Rico. I am married with eight children and thirteen grandchildren.

Retired after 33yrs of service in multiple Executive positions at the US Fish and Wild Service. Master's Degree from the University of Arkansas. Lifelong Angler and conservation advocate from Ponce, Puerto Rico. I am married with two daughters and one granddaughter.

Born in Brooklyn, New York and resident of Cidra, Puerto Rico. Lawyer for 39 years with experience at State and Federal Law with 9 years as a State Prosecutor specialized in Drugs and Organized crime. Have been fishing since I was a kid and Im presently part of the La Plata Fishing Club.

To develop fishing teams to represent Puerto Rico to compete in amateur world championship sport fishing events. To promote environmental stewardship, catch & release angling, responsible harvest initiatives, and natural resource management. To enrich local communities both economically and socially by conducting fishing events, educating local fishing clubs, and executing regional outdoor initiatives. To introduce the people of Puerto Rico to World Championship Angling, and invite them to pursue the exhilarating honor of representing Puerto Rico in the spirit of Olympic Style Competition.
